- Rob Sims thinks it's "refreshing" that there is talk about the Lions going to the playoffs, and he doesn't think this talk is premature.
- Michigan defensive tackle Mike Martin helped out at Ndamukong Suh's youth football camp on Wednesday.
- Lawrence Jackson was also at the camp to help out again and he asked Suh one of the questions during the Q and A segment.
- Lions rookie Doug Hogue sat next to America's Most Wanted host John Walsh on a flight the other day, and Hogue got Walsh's autograph.
- Shaun Hill was selected as the quarterback on Doug Farrar's all-underrated team.
- The House of Spears broke down how the Lions did against No. 1 receivers last year, and the data shows that they surprisingly did a pretty good job.
- Apparently some owners want to have a right of first refusal for three or four of their unrestricted free agents when the new league year begins. This would be a one-year thing to help teams ease out of the lockout, but I personally don't see the point. Are teams really surprised that the free agent rules are going to make four-year players unrestricted free agents? I doubt it.
- Terrell Owens reportedly tore his ACL this offseason.
