CBS Sports recently came out with a list of 140 athletes or sports personalities that are "must-follows" on Twitter. They ranked the top 50 and then broke down the rest of the athletes/personalities by sport.
Three athletes that play for Detroit sports teams made the list. They are Detroit Lions defensive tackles Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley and Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. Verlander, who just won his 12th game before the All-Star break, comes in at No. 25 on the list. Fairley is ranked 31st and Suh is No. 33.
Fairley and Suh are pretty good follows on Twitter, but I have to agree with Dave Birkett's assessment of the list CBS Sports compiled:

Lions coach Jim Schwartz is also on the list, although he isn't ranked in the top 50.
