Ndamukong Suh Happy Hard Knocks Won't Feature Lions

When there was talk about the Detroit Lions potentially appearing on HBO's Hard Knocks, fans were excited about the possibility of getting an inside look at their favorite team. Players and coaches, on the other hand, were not too keen on the idea of having cameras everywhere during training camp. Not only did they not want the potential distraction, but they also didn't want other teams to get to watch everything they do.

Those are two of the reasons why the Lions turned down an offer to appear on Hard Knocks, and Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is glad they did, mainly because he doesn't want so many cameras around during camp.

"That's probably one of the most annoying things that you sometimes have to encounter. I'm actually kinda glad we (declined to offer), because I'd like to keep nice and quiet, keep everything in-house, then we'll show what we've got on that football when we get out there that first game."

A team still hasn't been announced for Hard Knocks this year, so I'm starting to wonder if the show will even air this summer.
