NFL Free Agent Rumors: Detroit Lions Targeting Stephen Tulloch

It is becoming more and more obvious that the Detroit Lions are making a run at signing free agent linebacker Stephen Tulloch. As if the report from National Football Post on Tuesday wasn't evidence enough that the Lions want to sign Tulloch, ESPN's John Clayton tweeted this today:

Following the advice of N. Suh of the Lions, the Lions are trying to get linebacker Stephen Tulloch and a cornerback.less than a minute ago via yoono Favorite Retweet Reply

Titans Insider also tweeted that the Lions are interested in Tulloch, and Adam Caplan says Tulloch is drawing interest from Detroit and Philadelphia. To say the least, there are a whole lot of reports out there suggesting the Lions want to bring in Tulloch to help fill one of their needs at linebacker.

When you consider what Tulloch tweeted earlier today and all of these different reports about the Lions showing interest in him, speculation certainly suggests an offer has been made. Only time will tell if that is the case, but all signs point to it right now.
