The Detroit Lions have had a busy week of roster moves as they continue to get ready for tonight's preseason opener. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m., and I figured now would be a good time to take a look at where the roster stands going into the first preseason game.
I plan on putting up my first 53-man roster prediction in a bit, and you can take a look at the 90 players I have to choose from after the jump.
Note No. 1: Names in italics are new to the roster and weren't included in the previous update.
Note No. 2: Mikel Leshoure is still on the active roster and is not on injured reserve. Since he would have to be waived/injured to go on IR and the Lions don't want to risk him being claimed by another team, they will have to wait until the final round of roster cuts to officially put him on the shelf for the season.
