The Patriots had their streak snapped with a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. As pointed out by ESPN's John Buccigross, this means the Detroit Lions are now owners of the longest active winning streak for regular season games.

The last time the Lions won seven straight games was in 1995. They started the season 3-6 and ended up finishing with a 10-6 record thanks to seven straight wins to end the season.
