Throughout the offseason, Pride of Detroit chronicled the Super Bowl odds for the Detroit Lions. In past years this kind of stuff wasn't very newsworthy for Lions fans considering the odds were in the 100-1 range more often than not, but this offseason it was worth noting how they were starting to go in a different direction.
Fueled by the winning streak to end 2010 and the hype surrounding the improved roster, every few weeks it seemed like the Lions' Super Bowl odds improved. Now that the Lions have on-field results to back up the hype and are off to a 3-0 start, the odds are favoring them even more than before.
What's interesting to me is that the Bills and Lions are both 3-0, but Vegas clearly hasn't jumped on the Bills bandwagon considering their odds are 40-1. The odds are much more favorable to the Lions, which suggests that their 3-0 start impressed people more than Buffalo's.
Both teams are 3-0, so I suppose that's all that matters at the end of the day, but it's still something worth noting.
