After taking some time to decide between multiple opportunities to return to the NFL, former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher decided today to accept the head coaching position with the St. Louis Rams. Fisher chose the Rams over the Miami Dolphins, deciding to go to a team where he will have control over personnel decisions, the No. 2 pick in this year's draft and a potential franchise quarterback in Sam Bradford.
Fisher had spent a lot of time around the Lions this past season since his son worked as a defensive assistant. Fisher is also good friends with Jim Schwartz, as the two coached together in Tennessee. Now they will get to square off as head coaches, as noted by Paula Pasche on Twitter.
