In case you missed it last night, the NFL playoff schedule for the first two weekends is out. The NFL made the announcement during the Sunday night game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys (the Giants won, by the way).
For the Detroit Lions, what you need to know is simple. Because they are the No. 6 seed in the NFC, the Lions are set to take on the New Orleans Saints, the No. 3 seed, at the Superdome. Their game will be on NBC at 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Saturday night. If the Lions win, they will play at the No. 1-seeded Green Bay Packers at 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Sunday, Jan. 15.
The rest of the NFL playoff schedule for the wild-card and divisional rounds is after the jump.
