Since the Detroit Lions don't play until Monday night in Week 7, they don't have to release their first injury report until Thursday. However, the Lions did hold a practice on Wednesday afternoon, and we know that six players were out. Via Dave Birkett, here's the list of players who were held out of Wednesday's practice:

WR Nate Burleson
DE Cliff Avril
DT Corey Williams
LB DeAndre Levy
CB Bill Bentley
CB Jacob Lacey

It's likely that Burleson, Avril and Levy were just resting and will be good to go later in the week and for Monday night's game. Williams' status for the game against the Chicago Bears is unclear considering he's still recovering from knee surgery.

As for the two cornerbacks, their status is also up in the air. Bentley suffered a shoulder injury against the Philadelphia Eagles, while Lacey suffered a concussion. The Lions are already thin at cornerback, and not having just one of them would not be good. If both are out the Lions will likely have to sign somebody to add more depth.
