Lions at Vikings injury report: Chris Houston misses practice with flu

New, comments

The Detroit Lions were without Chris Houston during Thursday's practice, as he was out with the flu.

The Detroit Lions were once again without several players when they hit the practice field on Thursday. Guys like Calvin Johnson, Titus Young, Cliff Avril, Corey Williams, Louis Delmas and Amari Spievey all missed practice for the second day in a row, and Chris Houston was also out. He has the flu rather than an injury, but his absence lengthened an already lengthy injury report. Take a look:

RB Mikel Leshoure (Ankle) - Fully practiced
WR Calvin Johnson (Knee) - Didn't practice
WR Titus Young (Knee) - Didn't practice
OT Corey Hilliard (Knee) - Limited in practice
DE Cliff Avril (Back) - Didn't practice
DT Corey Williams (Knee) - Didn't practice
LB DeAndre Levy (Hamstring) - Fully practiced
LB Stephen Tulloch (Knee) - Fully practiced
CB Chris Houston (Illness) - Didn't practice
S Louis Delmas (Knee) - Didn't practice
S Amari Spievey (Concussion) - Didn't practice
S Erik Coleman (Toe) - Limited in practice

The Minnesota Vikings were once again without Percy Harvin on Thursday. Although Leslie Frazier made it sound like Harvin made progress on Wednesday, Harvin reportedly was "limping very badly" on Thursday. As of right now, it doesn't look like he is going to play on Sunday. Here's the Vikings' Thursday injury report:

RB Adrian Peterson (Ankle/illness) - Didn't practice
FB Jerome Felton (Shoulder) - Limited in practice
WR Jerome Simpson (Calf) - Fully practiced
WR Percy Harvin (Ankle) - Didn't practice
TE John Carlson (Concussion) - Fully practiced
OT Matt Kalil (Knee) - Limited in practice
DT Letroy Guion (Foot) - Didn't practice
CB Antoine Winfield (Knee) - Limited in practice
S Mistral Raymond (Ankle) - Fully practiced
S Jamarca Sanford (Knee) - Fully practiced
P Chris Kluwe (Left knee) - Fully practiced
