Week 16 NFL picks: It's almost over

A look at Pride Of Detroit's Week 16 picks.

Scott Cunningham

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for the offseason. There was so much excitement going into the 2012 regular season, but the Detroit Lions' performance over the last few months has turned that into disappointment and anger. Now, with only two games left in the regular season, I'm just ready for 2012 to be over, especially given that another loss appears to be on the schedule this week.

Here are my picks for Week 16:

Season record: 142-81

Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions

New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys

Tennessee Titans at Green Bay Packers

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

San Diego Chargers at New York Jets

Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

St. Louis Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Oakland Raiders at Carolina Panthers

New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars

Minnesota Vikings at Houston Texans

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos

Chicago Bears at Arizona Cardinals

New York Giants at Baltimore Ravens

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks

Non-Lions game to watch

The Sunday night game is the most intriguing matchup of the week in my book. The Seahawks have been one of the hottest teams in football as of late, and they are extremely good at home. It'll be interesting to see if the 49ers can again go on the road and win on Sunday night.
