Pride Of Detroit Fantasy Football League comes to a close for 2012

The 2012 season is in the books for the Pride Of Detroit Fantasy Football League.

USA TODAY Sports

Another season is in the books for the Pride Of Detroit Fantasy Football League. It pains me to say this, but my reign as champion has come to an end. My three-year title streak was snapped in the quarterfinals by DrewsLions, whose team made the playoffs by winning its division with a 5-8 record. This allowed for a new champion to emerge in 2012, and The Profiler came out on top. "This one's for phonz," his team named for Alphonso Smith, defeated Jettero2112's "Motown Madmen" by a score of 132.56-124.64 in the championship game.

Here's a look at The Profiler's championship team, which was absolutely stacked:

QB Matt Ryan
QB Robert Griffin III

RB Ray Rice
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Pierre Thomas
RB Daniel Thomas

WR Antonio Brown
WR Julio Jones
WR Mike Williams

TE Jermaine Gresham
TE Martellus Bennett

K Sebastian Janikowski

DEF Atlanta Falcons
DEF Baltimore Ravens
DEF Philadelphia Eagles

Thanks to everybody who participated in the POD FFL, and make sure to check back in next summer for information on how you can get involved.
