At this point, it would be a surprise if tight end Brandon Pettigrew is able to play for the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He has been out since the Lions' game against the Green Bay Packers earlier this month, and he hasn't even practiced since suffering the ankle injury. He was out again on Thursday, as were defensive tackle Sammie Hill and safety Louis Delmas. The other three players on the injury report took part in practice on either a limited or full basis.
