2013 Super Bowl Odds: Lions Come In At 18-1

As soon as Super Bowl 46 closed out the 2011 NFL season last week, 2013 Super Bowl odds were released. Interestingly enough, the New York Giants, which won this year's Super Bowl, aren't even among the top four favorites to win next year's game. The New England Patriots are at the top of the list at 5-1, and they are followed by the Green Bay Packers (11-2), Pittsburgh Steelers (6-1) and Philadelphia Eagles (6-1). The Giants are fifth with 8-1 odds.

The Detroit Lions are just outside of the top 10 for 2013 Super Bowl odds. They opened the offseason at 20-1 but are now 18-1 favorites to win Super Bowl 47. Interestingly, the Chicago Bears are one spot ahead of the Lions with 17-1 odds. The Houston Texans and San Diego Chargers both have 12-1 odds, and the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers both have 10-1 odds.

At the bottom of the league are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars. All three teams are at 100-1 odds or worse, so they are by far the biggest long shots to win next year's Super Bowl, which will be played on Feb. 3 in New Orleans.
