- The Lions have "had ongoing discussions" with soon-to-be free agents Cliff Avril, Stephen Tulloch, Eric Wright, Jeff Backus and Shaun Hill, according to Tom Lewand. The Lions have also had some discussions with Calvin Johnson, who has one year left on his deal.
