Things have been pretty quiet today for the Detroit Lions in the sense that they haven't made any moves. On Monday, they released Will Heller, restructured some contracts and tendered their restricted free agents. Nothing has happened on Tuesday, however.
Behind the scenes, it sounds like there actually is quite a bit of activity going on with the Lions. Nothing may have happened just yet, but the Lions are trying to get some deals done with their own free agents, including linebacker Stephen Tulloch.
According to a source, #Lions are working hard tonight to re-sign Stephen Tulloch. They are arranging backup plans if it can't happen #NFL

The main backup plan may be David Hawthorne, who the Lions have reportedly shown interest in. He would be a nice replacement if the Lions are unable to re-sign Tulloch, but right now the hope is obviously that Tulloch and the Lions will be able to work something out.
