Geoff Schwartz Scheduled To Visit Chiefs, 49ers After Meeting With Lions

Offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz is currently in town to visit with the Detroit Lions. He arrived in Detroit on Thursday night, just before a major storm that produced a tornado in Dexter (near Ann Arbor) rolled through. He tweeted about the storm last night, and he also tweeted about some of the other visits he has planned after he leaves Detroit by answering a question from a fan.

Dave Birkett was the first to report that Schwartz is also scheduled to visit the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. Of course, those visits will take place only if Schwartz isn't signed by the Lions while he is on his visit with them. It's also possible that his visit with Kansas City will only happen if offensive tackle Eric Winston doesn't sign. The Chiefs reportedly don't want Winston to leave without a deal, so there are a lot of things going on elsewhere that could potentially affect where Schwartz ends up.
