Wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. visited the Detroit Lions earlier this week but did not sign a deal. He enjoyed his visit, saying that the Lions have a "great group of coaches all the way around," but he also said that he wants to take his time and see what options are out there.
It appears the Baltimore Ravens may be a potential option for Ginn. He reportedly visited the Ravens on Friday, and they are a team that he has some connections to.
Ginn has ties to a member of the Ravens’ coaching staff, and I’m not referring to head coach John Harbaugh. He was Miami’s No. 1 draft pick in Cam Cameron’s one season as Dolphins head coach.
While he hasn't played for John Harbaugh before, he was a member of Jim Harbaugh's San Francisco 49ers last season, so the potential exists for him to play for two different Harbaughs in a span of two years.
