Linebacker Stephen Tulloch is back with the Detroit Lions. He re-signed with the team today and is now under contract for five seasons. He took to Twitter to react to the news and made it clear he is very excited to be returning to Detroit.
I want to thank all of the Detroit Lion fans for sticking with me through this process. This is a special team & I'm glad to be apart of it.

With Tulloch re-signing, the Lions are currently in control of the rights of all but one of their defensive starters from last season. Cornerback Eric Wright left to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the rest of the starters from last year's defense are either under contract or are set to return to the Lions. (In Cliff Avril's case, he is franchised, and in DeAndre Levy's case, he is a restricted free agent who has been tendered.)
Speaking of Levy, he is also pretty happy about the news that Tulloch is coming back.
