Corey Graham Signs Two-Year Deal With Ravens

When cornerback Corey Graham visited the Detroit Lions on Thursday, he mentioned that he had one more visit planned before he was going to make a decision. That final visit apparently was with the Baltimore Ravens, because he decided to sign a two-year deal with them today.

The direct effect of this move on the Lions is that they won't be able to bolster their special teams unit with the addition of Graham, who made the Pro Bowl last season as a coverage specialist. The indirect effect is that there is now one less team trying to sign linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba. From Aaron Wilson:

The Lions have been looking at adding special teams help by hosting linebacker Tim Shaw and Graham for visits, but perhaps the best move to improve their coverage units would be to simply bring back a healthy Ekejiuba, who spent most of 2011 on injured reserve.
