Numbers Out For Contracts Of Jacob Lacey, Shaun Hill

Although he was signed a week ago, we hadn't learned of what kind of contract quarterback Shaun Hill got from the Detroit Lions. Well, we hadn't learned until yesterday, that is. The Free Press' Dave Birkett got a look at what Hill's new two-year deal entails. Here's a breakdown:

Hill got a $1-million signing bonus and has base salaries the next two years of $1.75 and $2.4 million. He's also due a $350,000 roster bonus in 2013.

Birkett also got a look at the numbers on cornerback Jacob Lacey's deal with the Lions. Lacey is set to make a total of $1.3 million in 2012. He has a base salary of $1.05 million, as well as a signing bonus worth $150,000 and a workout bonus worth $100,000.

Previously, we learned that offensive tackle Jeff Backus signed a two-year deal worth slightly less than $6 million, and we also found out that linebacker Stephen Tulloch's new five-year deal is worth $25.5 million.
