The Detroit Lions continued to take a look at defensive prospects by hosting two more defenders for visits on Tuesday: North Carolina linebacker Zach Brown and Nevada defensive end Kaelin Burnett.
Brown is getting a look as a player likely to go in the second round. The Lions really have only one spot open on the 53-man roster at linebacker, so right now there is room for somebody like Brown to join the team as depth at the position.
Defensive end is probably one of the most talented positions on the Lions' entire roster, but that hasn't stopped them from taking a closer look at prospects who play that position. Already, in addition to Burnett, defensive ends Braylon Broughton (TCU) and Whitney Mercilus (Illinois) have visited the Lions, and plans call for Tyrone Crawford (Boise State) to stop by at some point this month.
Go here for a look at all of the past and future pre-draft visits for the Lions.
