Only four players are left in the Madden 13 cover vote. On the left side of the bracket are Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis. On the right side are Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Voting is set to run for the next week, with the two winners squaring off in the finals.
Despite New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski trying his best to sway voters in his direction, he didn't provide much of a challenge for Johnson. Megatron won by a percentage of 63-37, which was the second-biggest margin in the round of eight. The most lopsided matchup was Newton vs. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, as Newton won by a percentage of 70-30.
Rodgers, Johnson's opponent in the semifinals, won his third-round matchup by a margin of 55-45. He took on Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice.
With Johnson and Rodgers squaring off, an NFC North player is guaranteed to be in the finals of the Madden 13 cover vote.
