DeAndre Levy, Corey Hilliard Sign RFA Tenders With Lions

Two of the Detroit Lions' three restricted free agents signed their tendered contract offers today: offensive tackle Corey Hilliard and linebacker DeAndre Levy. By signing, Hilliard and Levy were able to take part in the Lions' offseason program that started today.

As a reminder, here is a look at the tendered offers that Levy and Hilliard signed:

  • OT Corey Hilliard - original-round tender (sixth round) worth $1.26 million
  • LB DeAndre Levy - second-round tender worth $1.927 million

The only unsigned restricted free agent is defensive tackle Sammie Hill, who was also tendered at the original-round level. He can seek offers from other teams until Friday. In the meantime, he has signed a waiver that allows him to take part in the offseason program despite not being under contract.

In all likelihood, Hill will sign his tender with the Lions in the near future, putting him under contract for the 2012 season. (His tender, like Hilliard's, is worth $1.26 million.)
