2012 NFL Schedule Comes Out Tuesday Night

After weeks of rumors, fake schedules and lots of speculation, the NFL is finally going to officially announce its 2012 schedule tonight at 7 p.m. The schedule will be announced on NFL Network, and ESPN is planning a three-hour show -- yes, three hours -- on the release. If you don't want to sit through the shows to get a look at the NFL schedule, simply go to NFL.com at 7 p.m. Pride of Detroit will have the Lions' 2012 schedule (with analysis) shortly after it is announced.

As a reminder, the following teams are on the Lions' 2012 schedule:

Home: Packers, Vikings, Bears, Rams, Seahawks, Texans, Colts, Falcons

Away: Packers, Vikings, Bears, Cardinals, 49ers, Jaguars, Titans, Eagles

What we are waiting for are the dates of games and TV details. The Lions are expected to have at least a few primetime games in 2012, and we will find out exactly how many at 7 p.m. tonight.
