2012 POD Mock Draft: Baltimore Ravens Select Mohamed Sanu

With the 60th pick of Pride of Detroit's 2012 NFL mock draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Rutgers wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. TonyDC is serving as the Ravens' general manager, and his reasoning for the pick is below.

At this point there are no linemen or safeties available without a significant reach. Though these positions represent a fairly obvious need, I think the Ravens will jump on the opportunity to take a big-bodied receiver to pair with Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith, fortifying their receiving corps. Though he doesn't fill a significant need, the Ravens are taking the best player available and giving Joe Flacco another vertical weapon. I didn't expect Sanu to fall this far and he represents a great value pick for the Ravens here. They can address the SS and G positions in the third and fourth rounds.
