One of the most talked about draft prospects among Detroit Lions fans the last couple months has been North Alabama cornerback Janoris Jenkins. While he is quite talented and would help the Lions' secondary, his character concerns have resulted in a lot of people hoping he doesn't end up in Detroit, at least not as a first-round pick.
Earlier this month, Dave Birkett reported that it was unlikely the Lions would select Jenkins with the 23rd overall pick, and as of today, that is still apparently the case.
Hard to speak in absolutes leading up to draft. 2 much misinformation. But I asked again today re Janoris. Be stunned if Lions took him Rd 1

Of course, if Jenkins were to fall to the second round, all bets are off. Character concerns or not, to me he'd be a steal in the second round, but would he actually fall all the way to No. 54 overall? Would the Lions make a move up from No. 54 if Jenkins started falling? I suppose we will find out in the next few days.
