2012 POD Mock Draft: Second Round Recap

Draftlogo_medium Now that the votes are in for the second round of the 2012 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, we can take a look back and gather some stats from the selections, much like we did for the first round a couple days ago.

  • The highest approval rating in the second round was for mgoblue4ever's pick of Wisconsin offensive guard Kevin Zeitler for the Kansas City Chiefs. The pick received a 92 percent approval rating.
  • Just as in the first round, five picks had approval ratings in the 80s: Bobby Massie going to the Buffalo Bills with the 41st pick (83 percent), Lavonte David going to the Philadelphia Eagles with the 46th pick (84 percent), Brandon Boykin going to the New England Patriots with the 48th pick (82 percent), Kendall Reyes going to the Tennessee Titans with the 52nd pick (82 percent) and Lamar Miller going to the Cincinnati Bengals with the 53rd pick (80 percent).
  • The lowest approval rating of the second round was Brandon Weeden going to the Eagles with the 51st pick. It had an approval rating of only 42 percent, which was barely lower than Juron Criner going to the Carolina Panthers with the 40th pick (43 percent) and Josh Robinson going to the Seattle Seahawks with the 43rd pick (45 percent).
  • The average approval rating in the second round was 68.6 percent, which is just about the same as it was in the first round.

You can check out all of the second-round picks after the jump.
