When the Detroit Lions made their third-round pick, there was some confusion over the exact name of the player. Most draft resources listed his name as Dwight Bentley, but some people were calling him Bill Bentley. Why the discrepancy? It turns out that Bill is his nickname, and apparently it's what he goes by.
Dwight Bentley picked up the nickname Bill from Little Bill the Cosby show.

Since he goes by this name and the Lions' official release on the pick referred to him as only Bill, I'm just going to call him Bill Bentley moving forward. The reason for this post is to explain why his name will suddenly be different on the site from the initial post about the pick.
Bentley, by the way, has decided to wear the No. 28 jersey for the Lions. This is the number Maurice Morris wore the last few seasons, but he is currently a free agent.
