Giving out 2012 NFL Draft grades just days after it came to end is not exactly an exercise that will produce a ton of accuracy. You need much more time for these players to actually see the field and develop as picks before being too judgmental about them. That's why some analysts decline to grade the draft, whereas others do it simply based on value and need.
While I am not a huge fan of giving out draft grades so soon after the selections were made, I am interested to see what the feeling is amongst Detroit Lions fans about the eight picks now set to join the team. There are no set criteria for how you have to grade them; you just pick a grade based on your feel for what the Lions did. (You can take a look at the eight picks after the jump.)
