Detroit Lions Sign Draft Pick Jonte Green

The Detroit Lions have now signed six of their eight 2012 NFL Draft picks. Five of the signings were previously known, although they weren't official at the time. The team just announced in a press release that six signings are official -- the five we knew about earlier, as well as sixth-round pick Jonte Green.

Here's the official list from the Lions:

The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed six players from their 2012 NFL Draft class to four-year deals, including: WR Ryan Broyles, DE Ronnell Lewis, LB Tahir Whitehead, CB Chris Greenwood, CB Jonte Green and LB Travis Lewis.

This leaves first-round draft pick Riley Reiff and third-round pick Bill Bentley as the only two members of the Lions' 2012 draft class without a contract. In all likelihood, they will be signed sometime soon.
