Lions Notes: Ryan Broyles To Attend NFLPA Rookie Premiere

  • Martin Mayhew recently said that the Lions were "fortunate" to sign Kellen Moore because he is "very talented."
  • According to Aaron Wilson, Ryan Broyles' four-year contract is worth $3.678 million and has a $1.115 million signing bonus in it.
  • Broyles will be attending the NFLPA Rookie Premiere out in Los Angeles from May 17-20.
  • Speaking of Broyles, he tweeted a picture of his new locker with the Lions on Thursday.
  • Rob Sims added 20 pounds this offseason in order to "get movement in the run game and stop the pass rush." While offensive line coach George Yarno admitted Sims probably isn't ready to play a game right now and needs to learn how to handle his new weight, he thinks Sims will be ready to go by the time the Lions' offseason training program ends.
