- The Detroit Lions held their final rookie minicamp practice on Sunday morning. The team's offseason conditioning program will continue next week, and the team will hold OTAs on May 21 and 22.
- Here is what Jim Schwartz had to say on Twitter after the minicamp came to a close:
Just closed out this weekend's mini-camp. I think fans are really going to enjoy watching this year's rookie class.
— Jim Schwartz (@jschwartzlions) May 13, 2012 - As expected, Riley Reiff shifted over to right tackle on Sunday after practicing at left tackle on Friday and Saturday.
- Undrafted free agent wide receiver Patrick Edwards reportedly performed very well at the minicamp this weekend. Aside from Kellen Moore, Edwards may be the UDFA with the best chance of playing his way onto the roster in training camp.
- Moore's locker is apparently in between Matthew Stafford and Ndamukong Suh. Moore was asked about being in between them and had a funny response: "You guys will probably forget about me pretty quickly."
- Ryan Broyles talked about his experience at the minicamp in a blog post on the Lions' official site.
- The Lions' Twitter account posted a picture of the four Oklahoma rookies.
