Among the players not in attendance at Monday's OTA for the Detroit Lions was wide receiver Titus Young. At first blush, this didn't seem like too big of a deal because several players were absent from the first OTA of the offseason. However, Anwar Richardson reports that the actual reason for Young's absence is a very big deal.
According to Richardson, Young was not at the OTA this morning because he was involved in a fight with safety Louis Delmas last week. Richardson mentioned in a follow-up that Delmas was in fact there, but Young wasn't. This is why:

This goes without saying, but that isn't good. Right now we have no details about what exactly happened between Young and Delmas, but based on speculation alone, it seems like Young was responsible for starting the fight if he's the one not allowed back at the team facility but Delmas was there.
Young is a promising player for the Lions given what he did in 2011 and how much potential he has. Let's hope this situation gets rectified shortly, because the last thing the Lions need this offseason is more off-the-field drama.
UPDATE: Details of what happened between Young and Delmas are out.
