Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles wasn't the only player recovering from an injury to take part in the individual drills at Monday's organized team activity. Running back Mikel Leshoure, who has spent the better part of the last year recovering from an Achilles injury, also took part in the individual drills. He seemed quite happy to return to the field.

Leshoure isn't 100 percent just yet, but he later said that there isn't any doubt that he will be ready for the start of the regular season. Considering how tough Achilles injuries can be to come back from, especially for a running back, this is promising news. It's still not clear if he will be ready to hit the field without limitations for training camp, but if he's already back for individual drills in May, I'd have to think he'll be good to go for other stuff by the end of July.
