All offseason there has been speculation about the NFL potentially canceling the Pro Bowl. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell openly discussed the possibility earlier in the offseason after how awful the 2012 edition of the "game" was. As of the 2012 NFL Draft, the future of the game was still being discussed, although it looked like a given that the game would be canceled. Now, a decision has been made:
The Pro Bowl lives on. NFL announces it will be played in Hawaii on NBC the week before the Super Bowl.

In an upset, the Pro Bowl is returning, mainly because the players "made it clear through the NFL Players Association that they would like the opportunity to continue to play the Pro Bowl in Hawaii." The NFL is still working with the players to improve the event, but all I can say is good luck, because I have zero interest in watching the "game" in its current form.
