Lions Sign Undrafted Free Agent RB Jacquise Terry

The Detroit Lions have added yet another undrafted free agent. The team has not yet announced any UDFA signings (they probably won't until before next week's rookie minicamp), but the list of reported signings is growing quite large.

The latest UDFA to join the Lions is Kent State's Jacquise Terry, as announced by the school (via MLive). Terry is listed as a running back by Kent State, but he also can play some wide receiver. In 2011, he rushed for 360 yards and two touchdowns on 74 attempts and caught 13 passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

Here's more info on Terry:

The only two-time Academic All-American in program history, Terry rushed for 1,721 yards and 14 touchdowns from 2008-2011. A dual offensive threat, he also caught 57 passes for 612 yards and four touchdowns.

This past season, Terry was selected as a team captain, earned Academic All-MAC honors for the third straight year and played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

In other UDFA news, Jacksonville State's Monte Lewis, who some sites had reported as signing with the Lions, has officially joined the Washington Redskins. He is not one of the Lions' UDFA signings.
