The Detroit Lions brought in free-agent safety Chris Crocker for a visit on Tuesday. According to Dave Birkett, it went well, although Crocker is still planning to take at least one more visit.
Sounds like Chris Crocker's visit went well today. He's still visiting Arizona, could visit SF. Expect he'll make a decision before long

Specifically, Crocker is expected to decide on a team and sign a contract "in the next week or so," according to Birkett. This means unlike the situation with free-agent safety Oshiomogho Atogwe, who visited back in March and is still a free agent, we should hear about Crocker's plans relatively soon.
Should Crocker decide to sign with the Lions, he will provide them extra depth at safety. Louis Delmas and Amari Spievey are back as the starters, and the Lions have Erik Coleman and John Wendling as well, although Wendling is more of a special teams player than anything. Ricardo Silva is also back, but he could end up on the practice squad again.
