Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles was at Comerica Park on Wednesday night to throw out the first pitch before the Detroit Tigers' game against the St. Louis Cardinals. He got a chance to meet Tigers manager Jim Leyland prior to throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

Broyles is the latest Lions player to get a chance to throw out the first pitch. Back in April, quarterback Matthew Stafford threw out the first pitch before the Tigers played the Texas Rangers. Last month, Calvin Johnson did the same thing before a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and he made headlines for hitting a home run during batting practice.
By the way, the Tigers lost last night's game by a score of 3-1.
