Detroit Lions veterans reported to training camp today and are undergoing physicals in advance of tomorrow's opening practice. Running back Mikel Leshoure just completed his physical and got some very good news:
Mikel Leshoure just walked out of Lions facility, said he got good news. No PUP

Leshoure said just last week that he will be going into training camp 100 percent healthy. It remains to be seen just how long it will take him to get back to regular speed, but by not being on the PUP list, he will be able to practice on the first day of camp. That is good news, and hopefully it means that he will be ready to go for the preseason, giving the Lions their first look at him in a game.
As you all know, Leshoure won't be eligible to play in the regular season until Week 3 due to his suspension. He is eligible to play in the preseason, though.
