Lions Notes: Roger Goodell To Visit Training Camp This Week

  • NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is going to stop by Detroit Lions training camp later this week, according to Mike O'Hara. The visit does not have to do with the Lions' off-field issues, but rather it is simply part of his annual training camp tour. I'm sure the off-field issues will be discussed during his stop in Allen Park, though.
  • Jim Schwartz said on Monday that he is "really proud" of what Titus Young has shown since returning from his post-sucker punch hiatus earlier this offseason.
  • One of the things Schwartz has been harping on during training camp so far is cutting down on penalties, according to Dominic Raiola.
  • Jason Fox is well aware that he needs to stay healthy this year after dealing with injury issues in his first two seasons in the NFL.
