EA Sports is in the process of unveiling the ratings for Madden 13. On Monday, the ratings for the top wide receivers and tight ends in the game were released. Who was at the top of the list? None other than the Detroit Lions' Calvin Johnson, who is on the cover of Madden 13.

Thanks to his outstanding season in 2011, Johnson is ranked 99 overall in Madden 13. Wide receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson are right behind him with 97 ratings, as is tight end Rob Gronkowski. Vernon Davis, Jimmy Graham, Steve Smith and Wes Welker are next on the list with 95 ratings, and Roddy White and Hakeem Nicks round out the top 10 receivers/tight ends with 94 ratings.

Earlier this month, EA Sports unveiled the quarterback ratings for Madden 13. Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Drew Brees were unsurprisingly at the top of the list with ratings of 99, 98 and 98, respectively. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford made the top 10 with a rating of 91. He has a throw power rating of 99, meaning you can bet the Stafford to Megatron connection will be out in full force in Madden 13.
