On Monday, the Detroit Lions trimmed their roster down from 90 to 74 players. On Tuesday, the Lions' roster went up to 75 players with the trade for Kevin Barnes becoming official. As the team heads into its final preseason game on Thursday and the final round of roster cuts on Friday, there are now 75 guys competing for only 53 spots.
In the coming days, Pride Of Detroit will analyze the roster with a final 53-man prediction, a look at who might make the practice squad and more. For now, let's just take a basic look at which 75 players are still around as the final round of cuts nears.
