The Detroit Lions have officially announced their initial 53-man roster. I emphasize the word initial because it's likely that the roster will change a bit in the next 24 hours. With the Lions getting a chance to make waiver claims and the roster still needing some work at positions like running back and defensive back, I expect Martin Mayhew to be pretty active on Saturday.
For now, the roster is set with the 53 players who survived Friday's final round of cuts. After the jump you can take a look at the current roster, as well as the players who were let go on Friday.
