It appears the Detroit Lions have signed cornerback Drayton Florence, at least that is what Lions wide receiver Kassim Osgood is reporting on Twitter.
We would like to welcome Drayton Florence to the Lions!

Florence was released by the Denver Broncos on Friday as part of their final roster cuts. Before joining Denver this offseason, he had been with the Buffalo Bills for the past three seasons. He started every game in 2010 and 2011. Last year, he had 12 pass defenses and three interceptions.
It's not clear if this move is official yet considering it's only been reported by a Lions player. As a result, we don't know who has been released yet by the Lions to make room for Florence. I would imagine it'll be a defensive back, meaning guys like Jonte Green and Ricardo Silva could be on the chopping block.
UPDATE: Dave Birkett is reporting that the Lions haven't officially signed Florence yet. That doesn't mean they won't sign him, but it's not officially done just yet.
