VIDEO: Ndamukong Suh Takes Down Steven Jackson With One Arm

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is a strong man. That's common knowledge given what he's done on the football field since joining the Lions in 2010.

On Sunday, in the 2012 season opener for the Lions, we got a perfect example of just how much strength Suh possesses. In the second quarter, with the Lions up 7-3, the St. Louis Rams handed the ball off to Steven Jackson. It looked like Jackson might have a lane to run through, but suddenly Suh grabbed Jackson with his right arm. At the same time, Suh was fighting off a blocker with his left arm, and he ultimately ended up taking down Jackson for the tackle with really only one arm. Here's a look at the play (via SandmanLions):

Suh finished with two tackles and one sack on Sunday. Both of his tackles were for a loss. Although his numbers weren't out of this world or anything, to me he looked a lot more like 2010 Suh than 2011 Suh. That is a very good sign going forward.
