All appears to be well with Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. He gave Lions fans a bit of a scare on Wednesday when he missed practice with a foot injury, but he was back on the field on Thursday as a full participant. As originally thought, it looks like Wednesday was simply a day off for Johnson, meaning he should be good to go on Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
The news isn't quite as good for the Lions' secondary. Both Bill Bentley and Louis Delmas were unable to practice on Thursday, making it seem pretty unlikely that either will play this week. Chris Houston did participate on a limited basis again, suggesting he will return, but it looks like the Lions will be without Bentley and Delmas.
Here's a look at the full injury report for Thursday for the Lions:
WR Calvin Johnson (Foot) - Fully practiced
DE Lawrence Jackson (Calf) - Didn't practice
DT Corey Williams (Knee) - Didn't practice
LB Travis Lewis (Quad) - Didn't practice
CB Chris Houston (Ankle) - Limited in practice
CB Bill Bentley (Concussion) - Didn't practice
S Louis Delmas (Knee) - Didn't practice
Since the 49ers are a few hours behind, their Thursday injury report won't be out until later in the day. In the meantime, here's a look at their Wednesday injury report:
RB Brandon Jacobs (Knee) - Didn't practice
WR Ted Ginn (Ankle) - Didn't practice
LB NaVorro Bowman (Shoulder) - Limited in practice
P Andy Lee (Hand) - Fully practiced
