As expected, Week 1 of the NFL season provided some surprising results. I still managed to finish with a 10-6 record in Week 1, but there was certainly room for improvement. Right now I'm tied for 19th in Pride Of Detroit Pro Football Pick'em. Four people are tied for first after going 12-4, so perhaps we will start to see some separation in the standings in Week 2.
Here's a look at my picks:
Season record: 10-6
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
Minnesota Vikings at Indianapolis Colts
Oakland Raiders at Miami Dolphins
Arizona Cardinals at New England Patriots
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants
Baltimore Ravens at Philadelphia Eagles
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars
Washington Redskins at St. Louis Rams
Dallas Cowboys at Seattle Seahawks
New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers
Tennessee Titans at San Diego Chargers
Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers (Yes, I'm going with the 49ers. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a tough time seeing the Lions pulling off the upset in this game.)
Denver Broncos at Atlanta Falcons
Non-Lions Game To Watch
As discussed earlier, the big non-Lions game on the slate this week is the Bears visiting the Packers on Thursday night. This will be a very interesting game to watch given the implications on the NFC North.
