The Detroit Lions' first injury report of the week is out, and it actually includes some good news for a change. Although there are now eight total players on the injury report (up from seven last week) and most did not participate in Wednesday's practice, both Chris Houston and Bill Bentley were on the field. Bentley only took part in practice on a limited basis, but Houston was a full participant. Houston said on Wednesday that he will "definitely" play on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, and his full-practice status indicates that he is on track to return this week.
Here's a look at the full injury report:
WR Calvin Johnson (Ankle) - Didn't practice
TE Tony Scheffler (Calf) - Didn't practice
DT Corey Williams (Knee) - Didn't practice
LB Travis Lewis (Quad) - Didn't practice
CB Drayton Florence (Forearm) - Didn't practice
CB Bill Bentley (Concussion) - Limited in practice
CB Chris Houston (Ankle) - Fully practiced
S Louis Delmas (Knee) - Didn't practice
I'm guessing guys like Corey Williams and Calvin Johnson are just getting time off to rest like last week. While Johnson's injury is now listed as an ankle issue instead of something with his foot, it would be a shock if he doesn't play on Sunday.
